Week 5: Day 2 of Work Experience at LIT
Week 5
Day 2 of Work Experience at LIT
Started at 9:00 am, checked email, reviewed yesterdays work and made plan for the day. Completed another video today on "How to add media to your Moodle course page." I find that it is a fast process in recording the video: audio and screen-captures. What takes the time are setting of the zooms and from this trying to avoid flicker between clips/zooms. I would say that if the zoom's and flicker were fixed, I would be producing more than 2 videos per day. Other ways of handling these features, I must ask about.
Watched some Lynda.com Camtasia videos as far as Chapter 3, part 2. This is about how to sync a mobile phone with a computer that all link to Camtasia; three factors here to look at. This is shown in the "Capturing Multiple Sources" section. The author uses "Gamesscreen Recorder App," and recommends the following checklist for selecting an app:
He also details: using a mirroring app and the importance of selecting required resolution at the start of a Camtasia project.
An article I read today on Pinterest from Venngage.com and infographics website company:
Key-points for a successful Pinterest Infographic are:
1. Choose a popular Pinterest infographic topic.
2. Be funny, challenging or useful.
3. Stick to simple informational infographics.
4. Serif fonts are popular but make sure it fits your topic.
