Week 2: Day 4 of Work Placement at LIT
Week 2
Day 4 of Work Placement at LIT:
Today I had this morning off and started work at 14:00 pm. Checked email. Reviewed yesterdays work and plans for today.
I exported the video made in Camtasia using the "Share" feature, to MP4 format using settings of : HD MP4 only (up to 720p.)
Uploaded the video to OneDrive. Copied and edited a link to the video.
Called ("OneDrive Videos 4".)
I sent the MP4 link to the "OneDrive" video to my Work Placement Supervisor Alan.
I took various photos of LIT for the Newsletter requirement of this Work Placement. Photos taken include, exterior of LIT, front and back views, various compositions, Interiors of: new wall banner from Cranberries added recently to The Street, sign-posts on The Street for IT Helpdesk and for Computer Center, IT kiosks, Main Computer Center, a Welcome poster at the Computer center saying "Welcome" in 15 languages.
I read up on next videos and notes received from Stephen on: "how to deal with suspicious emails," and how to to use the "Plotter" for printing. Tomorrow I will read up on other items on the list for making these e-learning video tutorials e.g. Core, Agresso etc.
I will add the photos I took today to my Newsletter and complete same this evening.
